A world built on rules
From this article,
"It's challenging for us to support standards," Wilson said. The "core of Trident is great code".
...I don't get it. How can it be great code if it doesn't work as it should? Maybe they should re-brand it as something other than a web-browser? I can only imagine how the opt it would go...
**Installed IE 8.0**
Do you want to opt in for standards? ..Yes
.."Where did the web go??
I think a good way to look at the way Microsoft looks at the way it designed this great code is to paraphrase an old slashdot comment:
"I've seen Firefox punch through a concrete wall. Men have emptied entire clips at it and hit nothing but air, yet its strength and its popularity are still based in a world that is built on rules. Because of that, they will never be as strong or as fast as IE can be."
